ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO
CLASS-IX (2027-28) THROUGH LATERAL ENTRY SELECTION TEST IN
JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA.

Instructions

1. केवल वे उम्मीदवार जो 2026 के दौरान (सत्र जनवरी–दिसंबर 2026 / सत्र अप्रैल 2026 से मार्च 2027) कक्षा-VIII में पढ़ रहे हैं, वे ही कक्षा-IX लेटरल एंट्री चयन परीक्षा के लिए आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। दी गई सभी जानकारी सही होनी चाहिए और यह सत्यापन के अधीन होगी।
The candidate who is studying in Class-VIII during 2026 (January–December 2026 session / April 2026 to March 2027 session) only is eligible to apply for the Class-IX Lateral Entry Selection Test. All information submitted should be correct and shall be subject to verification.

2. उम्मीदवार का भारतीय नागरिक होना ज़रूरी है।
The candidate must be an Indian National.

3. उम्मीदवार के रहने का जिला और कक्षा-VIII में पढ़ाई करने का जिला एक ही होना चाहिए।
The district of residence and the district of study in Class-VIII must be the same.

4. उम्मीदवार/अभिभावक को प्रॉस्पेक्टस (विवरणिका) ध्यान से पढ़ना चाहिए और यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि उम्मीदवार सभी निर्धारित पात्रता शर्तों को पूरा करता हो।
The candidate/parent must read the Prospectus carefully and ensure that the candidate fulfills all the prescribed eligibility conditions.

5. चयन परीक्षा का प्रश्न पत्र केवल द्विभाषी (हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी) होगा।
The question paper for the selection test will be bilingual (Hindi & English) only.

6. जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय में प्रवेश सत्र 2027-28 के लिए कक्षा-IX में खाली सीटों की उपलब्धता पर निर्भर करेगा।
Admission to JNVs is subject to the availability of vacancies in Class-IX for the session 2027-28.

The district of class-VIII study and residence should be same.

NVS will accept OBC certificate as per central list only.

मैं प्रमाणित करता/करती हूँ कि ऊपर दी गई जानकारी मेरे ज्ञान और विश्वास के अनुसार सत्य है। मुझे संज्ञान है कि मेरे द्वारा प्रदान की गई कोई भी जानकारी यदि गलत पाई जाती हैं तो मेरे पाल्य/ पाल्या की अभ्यर्थिता किसी भी स्तर पर, यहाँ तक कि जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय में प्रवेश के बाद भी, समाप्त कर दी जाएगी। भविष्य में मेरे द्वारा उपरोक्त डाटा में बदलाव हेतु कोई अनुरोध नहीं किया जाएगा। यदि मेरा पाल्य/ पाल्या अनंतिम रूप से चुना जाता है तो मैं प्रवेश के समय सभी आवश्यक प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करूंगा।

I understand that if any of the information provided above is found to be wrong, the candidature of my ward will be forfeited at any stage even after admission in JNV. I also submit that no change in aforesaid data shall be requested by me in future. I will produce all the required certificates at the time of admission, if provisionally selected.
